Samsung Vibrant

Samsung has expanded its Android-powered smartphone lineup with the addition of Samsung Vibrant. 

`Slim and sleek' Samsung Vibrant is powered by Google Android operating system (version 2.1) and comes with 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor and support for 32GB memory (an included 2GB external memory card). 

Vibrant has a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen display and has 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom, LED flash and autofocus. It can also record HD videos. 

Claimed to give users a "robust entertainment experience," Samsung Vibrant comes bundled with James Cameron's Avatar, Amazon Kindle application, MobiTV with live and on-demand TV, Slacker Radio mobile app, up to a month of free in-flight Wi-Fi access via Gogo Inflight Internet, and an optimised six-axis sensor for gaming and media. 

Samsung Vibrant will hit retail in the United States on July 21. The smartphone, available on TMobile, is priced at $199.99, with a mandatory two-year service contract.
